Rossignol was one of the early leaders in ski manufacture and design starting in a small town in France. The company has grown and in 1990 was responsible for the sale of around one-third of all downhill skis sold throughout the world.
By the 1990s Rossignol had broadened its product line to include snowboards bringing the design innovation that went into their ski manufacture to the newer industry.

During the 1980s Rossignol introduced the monoski which was well received by skiers who were looking for new sensations on the snow. This naturally led to the snowboard which was creeping into the market with greater speed. In 1987 Rossignol went to market with its first snowboard, the Avion snowboard.
As with other snowboard brands the Rossignol boards come in Mens and Womens models and some of these models are also available as wides.
The Rossignol snowboards listed above represent just a small sampling of the range of snowboards that are for sale at Snowboards HQ.
