Since it's establishment the company has worked hard to design and create the finest snowboards possible using quite unconventional manufacturing methods. The Palmer company is responsible for some innovations that have helped to shape the snowboard industry and these innovations include:

  • The board's core was milled with three-dimensional construction making the board lighter while giving it added strength.
  • Nomex honeycomb core that significantly made the board lighter and creating the highest weight to strength ratio of any snowboard at the time.
  • Cap-sidewall construction that manages to combine the two most common types of sidewall construction.
  • Klothoid and FLF Mini-Rocker Shape design which makes riding easier, more fun, and "Feels like Flying".
