The Burton Royale snowboard is a freestyle snowboard for the more experienced rider. It is classified as a mid-wide snowboard by Burton, recognising that a wider waist gives the snowboarder a more energetic ride. The greater surface area of the board gives you more stability and it has a a gripping edge that allows bite as you carve through the park getting air and hitting rails.
This is a board that will take a lot of abuse maintaining strong edge hold and carving like there were no tomorrow. It's a good board for the larger riders without having to actually move all the way up to a wide board.
